Last summer we were very excited to announce the arrival of our 4 new ultimate castles: Jungle Jim, the Buccaneer, the Fire Station and the Princess Carriage! They have been so well received by children and adults alike. While they have all been incredibly popular and deserve their own introductions, we had to start somewhere. We plan a lot of birthday parties every year, several hundred in fact, and we’ve seen all kinds of different themes. Some trendy, some timeless, the one we keep seeing is princess theme. Whether you’re looking for a generic princess themed birthday bash or one centered around a favourite character, we have a package that can work perfectly for you.
We frequently get requests for Disney princesses like Elsa, Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella, unfortunately these characters are protected by copyright. The only way that we could legally provide these specific princesses for your party would be to enter a licencing agreement with Disney. The approval process and licencing fees are so high that they would make our princess packages totally unaffordable for the majority of our clients, so as an alternative we are pleased to offer Par-T Princesses. Incorporating our princesses into your theme is easy! Licensed decorations and party accessories are readily available at most party supply stores and really help to integrate your theme. Our leaders will incorporate your theme with games and face painting designed to suit your needs. Our princesses can dress similarly to your favourite Disney character, and even claim to be their friend, sister or cousin! Recently, “Elsa’s cousin” has been making regular appearances at parties, and the feedback has been phenomenal! Each of our princesses has her own story prepared for the party. She can tell the girls where she lives, what life is like in the castle, and what she and Elsa do for fun, as well as answer any questions the kids might have!
If you’ve been following along with our Meet the Team Interviews you may have noticed that many of our staff love to dress up as princesses. Being a convincing princess means more than just putting on a pretty dress. Our princesses (as well as the rest of our team) are highly trained in order to be the best at what they do. Recently we had a princess training workshop where we worked on mastering skills like pretty princess face painting, etiquette, story creating and convincing costuming. Workshops are such a great opportunity for our staff to get together, share tips & tricks, and master the skills that make them amazing party leaders! A lot of our workshops focus on specific skills like face painting and balloon twisting, but this one was extra fun. It doesn’t seem like work when dress up and makeovers are on the to do list!
