We’re busy planning some totally spooktacular Halloween, fall and harvest themed events. We love Halloween parties and the 3 big ‘C’s that go with them! It’s time for Costumes, Candy and Creativity!
My personal favourite has always been the creativity, imagining and designing costumes, decorating, crafting and figuring out how to spook the kids (but not too badly).
I must admit that I’m a little bit of a Pinterest addict, especially when it comes to holidays! Our Pinterest board is packed full of fun, easy and creative ways to make this Halloween absolutely spooktacular! My favourite is this candy corn bunting from The Pin Junkie. Using just a few supplies that you may already have on hand, these banners are super adorable and easy to make, even for little hands!
However you’re celebrating (or not celebrating) Halloween, it should be fun for everyone! It’s the perfect time of year to get together with the people you love and just be goofy! There is something about dressing up in costume that really helps everyone let loose and have a good time, but with all the fun being had, please don’t forget to be safe as well. A few years ago, our family fun with fireworks turned from an evening of laughter and smiles to a surprise trip to the emergency room. You can read more about that in last year’s Halloween blog. We know that safety isn’t always the most fun thing to think about, but it’s so much better than an injury!
However you choose to spend Halloween, we’re sending you wishes for fun, safety and a whole lot of candy!
