Hi, my name is Tara and I started working with Par-T-Perfect in the Spring of 2015. So far, I’ve only worked summer parties and they have been so much fun, but I’m also really excited for the upcoming Christmas season! I think I’m going to make an absolutely amazing elf!
My favourite type of event is birthday parties. It’s usually a smaller group of kids than the larger events, so I can get to know the kids better and really tailor the activities for them specifically. Face painting is my favourite skill, especially unicorns, rainbows, dragons and flowers!
If you ask me, there is nothing better than being a Par-T Princess! One of my favourite memories from working with Par-T-Perfect is my very first princess shift. There were 5 of us scheduled to go face paint at a corporate function. We were all dressed as different characters and I had been looking forward to it so much! On the day of the event it was freezing cold and raining out so I was worried that not a lot of people would show up, or (even worse!) that the event would be cancelled. It ended up working out though. There were a ton of kids and all of them LOVED the face painitng and characters. Some of the adults even got their faces painted! It was just so encouraging to see that even with bad weather the party was still totally perfect!
