Hi, I’m Cassandra! I’ve been working with Par-T-Perfect since May 2014. Par-T-Perfect has been such a fun team to be a part of! I absolutely love working during the summer because the gorgeous weather makes everyone happy! My favorite type of event to work is a small birthday party. I really like our Par-T-Fun package because you get to do a little bit of everything! It’s also great because I get to know the kids better, since it’s usually a smaller group.
My favorite activities (who can pick just 1?) are balloon twisting and games leadership. My favourite balloon animal to make is a teddy bear since the kids absolutely adore them! I think I’m pretty good at face painting, but I would really like to master that skill. The look on a child’s face when you show them the mirror after painting their face is so priceless, so I think mastering face painting would be really satisfying.
One of my favorite characters to dress up as is a pirate. I do love being a princess too, but it’s nice to take a break from being so prim and proper and to just have fun with the kids as a pirate. Besides, everybody loves pirates! That said, my most memorable Par-T-Perfect moments are from days I went out as a princess. Little girls just get so excited when they find out that there is a real live princess at the party! They always have so many questions about what it’s like to be a princess, and I love answering them with stories about what life is like in the palace and that time I visited candy land!
When I’m not working at Par-T-Perfect I am usually working on my schoolwork. I’m currently in the education program at Kwantlen (transferring to SFU next year) and hope to be an elementary school teacher. My favourite kids’ movie is George of the Jungle and my favourite band is Imagine Dragons. Something that a lot of people don’t know about me is that I’m actually quite talented at pencil and charcoal drawing.
We look forward to making memories with you!
