All About Venues!

Choosing a venue is often the first and most difficult part of planning a party. There are so many options to choose from. We’re happy to help you find the perfect venue for your perfect party!

Indoor Venues

Recreation Centers
Rec centers are great indoor venues for any type of event! They have party rooms that you can rent so you can keep food and gifts separate from the fun and games. They also have gymnasiums big enough for all of your guests to run around and burn off some energy.  Many have ceilings high enough for most of Par-T-Perfect’s bouncy castles to fit in, so be sure to request their ceiling height before you book!

Banquet Halls
If you want to throw an elegant event, yet still make it kid-friendly; consider renting a banquet hall for your indoor venue. You can have beautiful tables set up for the adults to sit and socialize, while keeping the fun and games to one side of the room so you can ensure the kids are well entertained as well. This way there’s plenty of room for everyone without sacrificing the class of your event.

Churches or School Gymnasiums

Sometimes it takes an ‘in’ with a church or school to be able to book a private event like a birthday party, but it’s certainly worth a shot! They have ample space, usually great gymnasium ceiling heights, and plenty of rooms to keep aspects of your party separate if need be. You can plan to have your event outdoors on a grass field or the parking lot if it’s after hours, but still have the gym as your backup indoor venue if there’s an unexpected downpour.

Hotels

If you want a beautiful space for you party, rent a meeting room from a hotel! They have professional staff to assist you with set up/take down, technical needs and catering options. Although a higher priced indoor venue option, it’s certainly the most stress-free, classy and memorable!

Outdoor Venues

Parks
Public parks are a beautiful and affordable option for outdoor events of any size. Many even offer playgrounds or water parks as added entertainment! If you’re planning to host your event in a park make sure to check with the city to see if you need a reservation(very strongly recommended), insurance, permits etc. and if there are any limitations on the type of services and equipment you are allowed to bring in. Keep your costs down and ask which parks have power on site, if they have none you will need to rent a generator as well.

Home Sweet Home
Who doesn’t love a free venue?! Having a party at home is probably the most popular option for birthday parties, but with all those kiddos running around, outdoors is usually better than in. Having a party at home is great for comfort and flexibility, but don’t forget that the cleanup will be up to you as well. If your children’s birthdays are in the fall or winter season, or you have a smaller yard not able to host a large bouncy castle, consider our indoor party options like our brand new Par-T-Pets!

We work with a variety of venues all across the Lower Mainland. Here are some of the most popular choices:
